Culture and Communications

The book presents culture as a broad idea that encompasses many aspects of our daily lives. Culture is something that lends people an identity. It allows them to relate to one another in various ways, whether it is in the activities that they enjoy or perhaps in the beliefs that they hold. Communications is what allows our culture to flourish. Communications allows for expression of our culture and enables our shared ideas to be conveyed universally.

Hi, my name's Kristy and I'm an English major and Fashion Merchandising minor. I'm from Woodinville, WA and am enjoying my third year here at Central. This is my first course in the Communications department and I am looking forward to it!
